Mitsubishi ASX

Mitsubishi’s compact crossover model ASX in our country and Outlander Sport in some countries has been updated for 2019. It has been on the market with its 3rd generation since 2010 and it is possible to say that it was too late for make-up operation. However, it is worth mentioning again that the vehicle in these official images is not the 4th generation ASX but the makeup ASX. Because the design of the vehicle has changed significantly. The main reason for this significant change was the new grille design in the front.
Mitsubishi calls this front design “Dynamic Shield”, which is what we can see on models like Eclipse Cross. In other words, we can easily say that ASX has achieved a design similar to Eclipse Cross. LED headlamps and rear lights in the ASX’te 2019 was also among the updates. In addition, a new red, orange and brown color tone has been added to the ASX color options. When we look at the other changes, we can say that the lower guards in the front and rear bumper have a new design and make the ASX look more muscular than before.

When we look at the interior of the make-up ASX, we see that the 7-inch touchscreen multimedia display has been upgraded to 8-inch. Mitsubishi also announced that it will soon launch a smartphone application that displays vehicle information and is compatible with this multimedia system.

Europe’s make-up 2019 Mitsubishi ASX will come with a combination of an atmospheric 2.0-liter petrol engine and a 5-speed manual or CVT transmission. In sport mode, the CVT transmission works like 6-speed. This 2.0-liter atmospheric engine is also featured in the Outlander, producing 148 horsepower and 195 Nm of torque. In our country, there is no official explanation about the make-up ASX yet, but we think that 1.6 gasoline and 1.6 diesel options will continue.

The interesting part is that there is no explanation about the 1.6 liter diesel unit in the international press release of ASX with make-up. Apart from that, we can say that the 4×4 option continues with ASX with make-up. We will have the opportunity to see the vehicle live as of March 5, 2019 at the Geneva Motor Show 2019.
